Tomorrow is the big day for people to travel back after a short or long Easter break.

Some shops were open for a few hours today.
This is from Helgø/Meny, and the message following the Easter decoration says; "Have a nice Easter".

"Smit Buffalo" is in town.
A Dutch towing vessel, - I found out by googling the name.

AIDA STELLA arrived today, and was the first cruise ship in Stavanger this year.
German tourists had put on sensible winter clothes.
Yes, it was COLD and sunny. And I hope they enjoyed exploring our city.

Out came my iPhone when I saw this model on her skiis in the colorful street in Stavanger.
Two photographers from the biggest local newspaper were on a photo shoot and made many creative shots to go with an article about what to do in Stavanger around Easter (school) holiday!
The article was printed in today's paper.

Anyway, HAPPY EASTER to all of you who are going up into the mountains for a skiing holiday!
Some have already started their easter holiday.

And if we will get more snow, I promise to keep you updated.

Next to my chair at the hairdresser today there was some activity going on.
MIRIAM was trying out "hair and make up" on her friend JOHANNE.
Soon exam day will be here, and she has to do both things as good as possible, but she will also have a time limit.

I am lucky to have different working hours, so I don't end up in a queue twice a day.

There has been major renovation going on the last 3 years, and it has become bigger.
When I walked by I saw there was still work going on outside.

Perhaps I should find out if it is possible to take some pictures from inside?

We visited "Yummy India" Saturday evening.
A fairly new Indian restaurant in the centre of Stavanger.
Amazing how they have turned the old shop in to an Indian restaurant.
Excellent service, very nice food. (Only missing the "Onion Bhaji")

FRETEX, a company run by the Salvation Army have had popular shops all over Norway for years now. Not only "poor" people go there to find a treasure or two.
People who like Retro style or just want to mix & match different styles can often find a bargain!

Here you see a collection of hand knitted woolen sweaters for kids.
One thing is for sure; knitting has become very popular again here in Norway.
