There are not many phone booths left in Stavanger, nor in other places in Norway for that matter.
Back in the 1970-80`s they were kind of landmarks spread out all over the country.
I cannot remember the last time that I used a public phone box.

I am watching TV, and Mr. Stoltenberg is now soon out after 8 years as our PM.

Look at the badge I have photographed in my hand.

Her name is Erna Solberg, and she will be our new PM very soon.

The voters have voted for her party HØYRE (conservative) with a strong margin!

Thunder & Lightening.

Never ever have I experienced more thunder and lightening here in Stavanger!!


Because of all the rain that followed, it has been a very busy day for the fire brigade and lots of other people. Represented here, is Steffen Hellem, who was busy repairing the water damaged escalator in the shopping mall at Hinna Park this afternoon.

Norwegian Election.

The Norwegian parliamentary election is going to take place in only 4 days time.

The politicians are out in town trying to get more voters on their side.

So who will not be working at STORTINGET on Tuesday next week??

I still don't know who I should vote for yet....

Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) soon ready for a domestic flight.

The 12th. Stavanger Marathon took place on Saturday.
Yes, there are more and more people who are addicted to the sport, and the book "Born to run" might be one reason for that.
