Seen from the back, behind the teachers training school.
The front did not look so nice though,  with a damaged door and roof, plus rubbish lying around.
But it did look like it is still being used by someone, students I guess.

Well, I don´t know much about the sculpture nor the artist, but I like it, and I know that there are thousands of students and kids who have seen it outside the entrance to the teachers training school.

Some people buy less and perhaps are more interested in quality.

Like many other places, drugs and drug dealing also happens here in Stavanger!
The green box at the back is for used needles.
It is sad but true, and is unfortunately a part of life.

Shipping containers.

Two students had a great idea, and have started off with making inexpensive student housing.
Unfortunately it cost more than they first thought to turn shipping containers an ideal place to live a student life.
Anyway, it is smart ! And Norway needs this for students in the years to come. I wish them good luck!

Brustadbua.

Norway is a long way behind Denmark when it comes to all the bakeries, the choices and opening hours ...... Especially on SUNDAYS !

But remember, we have BRUSTADBUA, where you can get freshly made bread,  pastries etc.

It was unusual to see HURTIGRUTEN docked in Stavanger this afternoon.
When I found out that it was possible to take a look inside, I did just that, and like many others, had a good look around.

The shop, HARRY CAMPING, always creates interestingly decorated windows.

You will find it on the corner of Østervåg and the colorful little road Øvre Holmegate.

I have been photographing and snap shooting with my iPhone, my small or big Nikon for several years.
I have captured many places, events and people.

In May 2013 I met a sporty French guy who had just arrived in Stavanger (from Annecy, in the French Alps.)
He not only wanted to go to the North Cape, he actually DID IT, alone, and on his bike!
