The green box at the back is for used needles.
It is sad but true, and is unfortunately a part of life.

Even here in my very small town, drugs are present. An unfortunate part of modern life.
You're right. It IS sad. Drug dealers and drug users don't have a very appealing place for their activities.

It is a difficult scene to see. In spite of that I must say your composition is perfect.
Well, at least there's a place for used needles, which I don't think you find here.
