Camping.

Someone must have taken advantage of the good weather and the free camping.
I passed this tent on my walk in the woods.
They were probably still asleep, it was 07.30 in the morning...

After school.

A pupil is having a moment of peace.... on the way back home after school.
The cycling helmet was put on the bench and the bike parked a bit further out to the right.

Some places have fairly thick ice and you can skate, other places like in this picture, - are dangerous, if the sign is up!

I wish you A HAPPY WEEKEND!
This is a swan on the little lake "Vannassen", 10 minutes away from the city centre by car.

Do you see these two young lads crossing over the ice on the water?
One of them ended up with one leg in the cold water....
They probably forgot to read the signs along the path.
I think he got a bit embarrassed, and he was not old enough to be photographed without his parents permission ..... so I dropped the action shot, and therefore show you "the peace and harmony" just BEFORE the accident.

Tonight is "Midsummernight"
Here in Stavanger, during the summer, it is light until very late in the evening. Most people gather together with friends, family or neighbors for picnics, barbeques and parties.
Some do this at home, and some go to places where there are organised events including big bonfires.
A good excuse for a party....... but tomorrow is back to work for most people.
