The day started with some (wet) snow and only +1C

Up and out for an EARLY morning walk today.

These two guys have been doing a good job on making a wooden path, so it will be easier to reach the beach for those who are out with a weal chair or a pram.

Beach life

This is Elisabeth Nessler and Bjørn Sola together with their two dogs.
Not a common thing to see, a Norwegian guy wearing a kilt (on yet another snowy day!)
He told me that he actually had five kilts...
So perhaps he will inspire more Norwegian men to dress the same way?
Great to see a man who is man enough to dress just the way HE likes.

Together with a good friend I was out walking on the beach, before celebrating "International Women's Day" with some nice food at the hotel on the beach.

Cancer research

(Saturday's posting, just a bit late.)

Landscape.... as you see it south of Stavanger.

The pink and blue  is a reminder of cancer research, that farmers support.

Probably a cause that many of us will get in touch with one way or the other.

It is raining outside, and the snow from Saturday's walk, has probably soon all melted.
I just wanted to show you the pretty tree someone had decorated in the woods.

Our dog was eager to go out for a walk.

This is about 20 minutes from home, south of Stavanger.

The snow is melting now.

Even with lots of snow, there are people who are out running.

At the back you see the Petroleum Museum and the city bridge.

It is Klepp, and the area with the houses is Verdalen.
Driving by car it takes about 30 minutes from the centre of Stavanger.
I was going away for a couple of days.
And as always, happy to get a window seat! :-)
