8 YEARS...

I celebrated 8 years of blogging this afternoon, with coffee and cake in the kitchen.

8 YEARS WITH BLOGGING.

SEVEN years with blogging....

Seven years ago I started blogging. And I have not missed one day!
Thanks to all of you who have taken time and commented on my blog and sometimes on Facebook.

I have also had the pleasure to meet some of my fellow bloggers from Menton, Saint-Pierre-De-Corps and Strasbourg. (France)
From London / England
Barcelona in Spain, Budapest in Hungary and from Lund in Sweden.

And the first "City Daily Photo" blogger I meet was Leif and his lovely family from Eagan in Minnesota/ USA.

All good memories!

I have learned a lot about places I had never heard about before, and I have learned quite a bit about my own city too.

We have had a day filled with rain..... and I have started knitting on a new project today....
That is why I choose to show you an image from inside the beautiful shop MAGISKE MASKER.
You will find it close to the oil museum. A nice place that also sells gifts.

Summer will come......?

Well, if you are in and around Stavanger today,
you will look up and see that this is not like the sky we have just now.
So far we have not had much "summer" here.
It has been cold, windy, sometimes rain, sometimes a bit of sunshine and a warm day or two.
The school holiday has started and many families have headed for Spain, Portugal, Italy, France etc.
I look forward to warmer days.

Swedish Midsummer buffet.

Year six of blogging started today.

I had lunch with my husband at IKEA today.
Actually, it was a buffet with all kinds of Swedish food.
I especially liked the sild (herring) and the salmon, and then of course, the strawberries for dessert.
Wonderful, and then, off to work this afternoon and evening.

Olle, is the Swedish chef who together with his team had prepared the wonderful meal.

Five years.

Thanks to each and every one of you who have in one way or another, encouraged and inspired me.
It has been fantastic to follow your work, and also to meet some of you over the years.

Heading further up....

Today it is my "Stavangerdailyphoto" blog's second anniversary!!

I celebrated around lunch time, and of course we had to have some sparkling wine.

I just want to show you a corner of the "Sola Strand Hotel". A hotel that also keeps old historical memories, and lets them be a part of the hotel atmosphere.

Today has been a lovely SUNNY day! I just hope it will be warmer soon .....
