Scouts.

This week we have seen scouts out and about the area, in and around Stavanger.
Yesterday afternoon I had a look around their camp.
It was just amazing with all the tents, food making and the way they were working together.
So many happy faces, so many new friends they had made.
They had been out on trips, even up to Pulpit Rock, the mountain I showed some images from a month back.

At the jamboree there were also many groups from different countries.
Here you see a group from Israel, an Australian and the group from Scotland, also seen on yesterdays posting.

Take a look at the events very informative and nice webpage.

Even the weather cooperated for all of their activities. Looks like great fun!

I was never a scout scout, only a cub scout (the younger ones). Only thing I can remember from those days is learning to make some kind of exploding treacle tin thingy... (some sort of chemical reaction where the pressure blows the lid off of the tin)... a life skill that is long forgotten...
