Rain-rain go away!

I sometimes wonder if the tourist gifts that are sold near the harbor, really are all handmade?
And when I see tourists walking around with South American style hats on their heads, complete with a Norwegian flag.... I seriously hope they will also buy some real Norwegian craftworks.

Anyway, a rainy day here in Stavanger.

All the things for tourists, are Made In China. 21 century reality. Greatings.

I am sure this happens almost everywhere...

I agree. On the dockside in Oslo there are things with the Norwegian Flag and pretend Norwegian Knits, but they are definitely NOT made in Norway. Thank heavens for places like Etsy (on line shopping) where real artists and shoppers can meet.

Lol, I sometimes think the same here! As a tourist in Norway, I think I bought Norwegian, at least I hope the pewter and wool sweater and scarf were. Actually, I'm sure they were! Beautiful shot though.

That would be good if they did Gunn. Most visitors to Perth and Oz in general usually go home with either a toy kangaroo, koala or ugg boots :)
