I have told you that Stavanger is quite international.

We even have an international cafe, and on Saturdays you can get food from different countries.
Today it was Japanese food on the menu.
They also had a slideshow with images from Japan and an animated film which we unfortunately did not get to see.

We met Kenji, who is from a place near Tokyo, and was living in the U.S before coming here to Stavanger. He now works for an American oil company.  The cute little daughter is named Mio and her mother is from Hiroshima.

It was the first time I visited the cafe.

It is at Nytorget.

Do not forget to bring cash, because they do not take any plastic cards.

Interesting menu of coffee to go along with Sushi !

That's very cool. I think it's a good idea for people to have the opportunity to try foods from cultures other than their own.

Some foods I will not try, though, just on the basis of how they look. Life is too short to take any chances in the culinary department. :)
