NATO mine countermeasures force.















The NATO mine countermeasures force that were here, consisted of seven vessels.
This is the submarine.

I was surprised to learn that there are still more than a thousand mines, left over from WW11, lying along the Norwegian coast.

Yep, we've got unexploded ordnance from WWII that occasionally still turns up on our coast.

I'm glad someone knows about it - after all these years the average person likely tends to forget. It must have been interesting to get aboard some of these ships.
