Today I bought a few Christmas cards that I will send as "snail mail" to friends and family living as far away as South Africa.
Not all people are on "Facebook" or use "Skype".
I know it is still 40 days left, - so I guess I should manage to write and get stamps before December.
Do you send Christmas cards?

Hi Gunn~ lovely to see your Christmas cards - Yes I still send cards!! usually with a family photo included, to those people I haven't caught up with all year. I hope the tradition doesn't die out completely.

When I was a kid, the postman came twice a day at Christmas time due to all the cards people sent each other. It was such fun opening them. Now we send and get maybe 15 cards a year. Despite my best intentions, I always end up sending them at the last minute.

I have pretty well given up on Christmas cards, and almost entirely on snail mail; but a couple of years ago we did send a lot of cards in a sudden change of 'policy', they were handmade cards with photos stuck on them. Enjoy the pre-Christmas time. Soon all the baking will have to start.

Tidligere skrev jeg 35-40, lange tilmed og ofte hjemmelavede, men døden har indhentet de fleste af modtagerne, og nogle få bekendtskaber er "forsvundet", så nu skal jeg kun skrive 3-4!

YES! It's one of my favourite parts of the season. I love reconnecting with friends and family and letting people I don't normally interact with throughout the years (but care about very much still) I still think of them. Even if they are on Facebook or Skype it's still nice to send cards. It's one way I say, "I love you."

I usually make a few Christmas cards from some of my flickr photos and ship those out into the world.

Yes - we usually send Christmas card with a little letter summarizing our year! I've gotta giddy up the process!
