Pablo and his two "brothers".

I had a chat with these 3 sporty men yesterday, all from Mexico City.
Pablo to the left is living in London at the moment, the other two who are brothers, Diego and Cesar, have been visiting Pablo, and after a few days here in the Stavanger area, including a trip out on the fjords and walking up to Prekestolen / The Pulpit Rock…. they were ready to head back to London.
I liked their sense of humor! I am 100% sure that they will have a FUN life and happy memories to share.

Swedish Midsummer buffet.

Year six of blogging started today.

I had lunch with my husband at IKEA today.
Actually, it was a buffet with all kinds of Swedish food.
I especially liked the sild (herring) and the salmon, and then of course, the strawberries for dessert.
Wonderful, and then, off to work this afternoon and evening.

Olle, is the Swedish chef who together with his team had prepared the wonderful meal.

Five years.

Thanks to each and every one of you who have in one way or another, encouraged and inspired me.
It has been fantastic to follow your work, and also to meet some of you over the years.

Colorful plants in the city centre.

You don`t have to go to the Botanical Garden to see beautiful flowers, even though it is well worth taking a visit there. In the city centre the small narrow roads as well as open spaces have got colorful plants, so it is a pleasure to walk along and just look at all the different types and styles. A good use for some of our tax money!

Stavanger Botanical Garden

If you are interested in gardens, you should visit Stavanger Botanical Garden.
It is only 10 minutes away from the city centre, and you can combine the trip with visiting several other interesting places near Ullandhaug.
There are plants from many different countries and always new things to see and lots to explore.

Thanks to my very practical friend, I have now started on a new project.
Changing the colors on the walls.
