We have no snow in the Stavanger area, only up in the mountains.
People still find ways to "pseudo ski", in this case using roller blades.

Reminds me of the fellow I saw a little earlier today rollerblading with a hockey stick on what was the first truly spring-like day we've had this year.
At least he is getting in some fitness time.
Periodically I see rollerbladers like that with ski poles here. Good black and white!
Now this looks like fun, the poles would allow one to keep their balance if they'd never roller bladed before... gives me ideas! :-)
Good for him, but I'll stick to the sofa.
We've still got the real thing going...
