The Olympic Games have started in Sotsji in Russia, and there will be millions following the games on TV.....
This is the NORWEGIAN guy, Mr.Ole Einar Bjørndalen who won a GOLD medal today in Biathlon!
(Some of you might remember that Norway had the Olympic Games in Lillehammer 20 years back.
Are you watching the Games?)

I do indeed remember Lillehammer. I'd like to see the place for myself someday.
I'll catch some of the games as time allows. Hockey, luge, and one of my favourite sports, the various long and short track speed skating events.
And bravo for Ole!
Oh well, you talked me into it Gunn.
I adored watching the winter olympics when it was held in Lillehammer. I'm hoping that the US gets lots of gold medals. Contest between Bodie Miller and your guy tomorrow.
Congrats to the Norwegian gold medal winner!
I am less interested in the winter Olympics than the summer Olympics, but it is on TV as I type this. I remember the Lillehammer Olympics very well. Norway did a really good job in presenting the Olympics. Shortly afterward I went out and got a Dale of Norway sweater!
It would be nice to watch some of this but I barely even have time for my blogging with studying at the Masters level now! I'll check the stats from time to time to see how the countries are fairing.
Have a wonderful Sunday and enjoy the Olympics!
Congratulations to Norway for winning the most medals on the first day.
We do indeed remember the Winter Olympics in Norway 20 years ago. Americans remember those Olympics especially because of the incident when US skater Nancy Kerrigan was attacked and injured to eliminate her a s competition for US skater Tanya Harding.
Great champion! Have a great Sunday!
I am watching for sure, have been in Lillehammer last summer and saw the ski-jump and the skating hall in Hamar. Congrats with your medal (we have three...):)
Non, je désapprouve la dérive commerciale de l'olympisme.
