The dog owner with this happy Woofy is visiting Stavanger for the first time.
Yesterday was a sunny day, and my friend and I, who were out for a walk, had a chat with the man from Falun in Sweden.
No problems communicating using different Scandinavian languages.
Swedish and Danish are similar to Norwegian.
So learn one of the languages, and you will pretty much get two for "free".

Looks lovely!
You make it sound so easy Gunn :) it's nice to stop and chat with visitors.
Woofy looks great! I am sure you are right with the Scandinavian languages: the problem isto learn the first one...
Great sight. And I would love to learn any one of the 3 languages! I try to listen to Radio Sweden a lot.
Years ago I had a Swedish au pair. It was very easy for her to learn spoken English, but I was unable to pick up much Swedish at all.
