Stavanger is the fourth biggest city in Norway. It is situated on the southwest coast. My aim is to try to capture something from every day, from the area nearby too, and when I am not at home I will still try to put up a photo from my archive. Welcome back for another look.

It's lovely to stroll by water. Hope the weather was nice for a walk!
An excellent capture!
This looks like something from a Henning Mankell novel. I know that he writes about Sweden, not Norway, but this would fit.
I like the way the so to see normal roofs are lying on the natural stone walls. A kind of architecture without architects. Beautiful.
Nice 'houses' for the boats. Ours are usually homeless!
This pair of vernacular buildings create a certain feeling of serenity along the shore. The stone work is marvelous. Nice composition -- barbara
