It was unusual to see HURTIGRUTEN docked in Stavanger this afternoon.
When I found out that it was possible to take a look inside, I did just that, and like many others, had a good look around.
For more info. take a look at http://www.hurtigruten.no
Stavanger is the fourth biggest city in Norway. It is situated on the southwest coast. My aim is to try to capture something from every day, from the area nearby too, and when I am not at home I will still try to put up a photo from my archive. Welcome back for another look.

Is it a sponsored post? Ha ha.
No, this is not a blog I earn money on, but if you know someone who wants to sponsor me, please let me know:) I have never travelled with Hurtigruten, but would love too, but perhaps not during the winter season.
Looks like a nice ship from your very fine photo. I went to the website and thought that it would be fun to take a cruise aboard the Hurtigruten someday!
Are you going to post some photos of the interior?
Did the trip to North Cape with them a year or so ago. Skidoing was fun.
Fabulous photo of your serendipitous subject. Glad that you got the chance to look around!
Great maritime traditions!

J'ai voyagé sur un bateau de cette compagnie en 2007 (le LOFOTEN) jusqu'à Kirkenes. J'en garde un très bon souvenir.
Hurtigruten is an old dream of mine... Maybe some day!
Happy New Year!
Last summer we made a short trip with the Hurtigruten from Alesund to Geiranger through the fjords which was very spectacular.
