In Gamle Stavanger, as we call the old part of Stavanger, there are places to buy arts and crafts as well as seeing the artist at work.
This is an image taken last summer, and I will have to add the artists name later.
If you want to see more artists and their work click on this link.

I love watching potters at work,it's not as easy as it looks :) Super shot for the theme Gunn.
I used to do pottery in my youth. Love the concentration you show here. Nice portrait.
Good one.
Lovely capture of an artist at work. It looks both like hard work and therapy at the same time.
Very nice shot! Potters make it look so easy and graceful.
A potter's craft is so much harder than it at first appears.
Pottery is something I have always wanted to do. Guess it is still not too late! Stay well Diane
deep concentration!
Great! Impossible to find here...
A real artisan, great!
Pottery is one thing I would love to try...
The process of making pottery is so fascinating. I love to watch the potter work the wheel.

i would like to try this once, too! i think its not easy indeed..
This is a magical art, to watch a lump of clay become something. A very fine interpretation of the theme!
Marianne Nyhagen is her name.
