One thing to remember is that the petrol-prices are at it lowest on MONDAYS, (14.76 N.kr.per litre) Some even use their lunch break to fill up the tank.

So is that 14.76 Norwegian kroner per gallon (liter?)?
We're currently at about $4 (US) per gallon here.
We would need to get it into litres and into the same currency though. I think there are 3.79 litres in a gallon, which puts the US price at about USD1.05 per litre. Here in Australia, the price is about AUD1.50 per litre and with our dollar at about 1.05 to the USD that means our petrol is about USD1.58 per litre.

Yes, between the currencies and units of measures it could get tricky - but would be worth the math, I think! I'd also be curious to see what gas stations look like all over. :)
It's much higher than it needs to be here in the States, that's for sure.
£1.40 /litre in UK that's US$2.27! I don't know how people manage, luckily I don't drive.
By my calculations, 14.76 NOK = 2.59USD ...
so ...
Norway is 2.59
Britain is 2.27
Australia is 1.58
USA is 1.05

Petrol stations has not be 'done' for a Theme Day for CDPB as yet. I will add it to the poll for December.

They should do it here too. We have some of the hightest prices in Europe!
Interesting to see that you also have higher and lower cost days Gunn, here in Perth the best days are Tuesday and Wednesday..NEVER buy at the weekends!
