More student housings are being built??
There were 6000 students from abroad who applied for taking a masters degree at our university. Only 330 students were lucky to study here, for free.
Of course housing and living costs money.
Anyway, they are quite international, with most coming from China, Iran, Russia, France and Germany.
This week they have all sorts of information and a week to get to know each other. Some might be lucky to live in one of the small flats here ( seen on today`s image).
This is very close to the campus area.

I have to come back to you on how many students there are in total in Stavanger.

Build it and they will come. Sounds like they will definitely fill it up.

They are building an apartment building in Handen, next to the student apartments, turns out it was for the elderly!

Dear Gunn,
I'm following your blog for months now and it has been such a beautiful preparation for my student life in Stavanger. Day by day I was discovering more and more from this blog and now I'm so happy to see everything in live. I'm one of these 330 students who get admitted and I'm very happy to finally start my studies.
Thank You very much and hope to see you on our campus.

and for free? thats cheap! (especially when comparing to the amount of money you have to pay in the usa)

I guess someone has to pay for this free tuition...

I should have told you a long long time ago, this is a huge GREENHOUSE etc. that belongs to the Botanical garden, and no students are going to live there! :-)
