A "leopard snail".
I thought that these were "good" snails, as they are supposed to eat other snails.
But I just found out that they are also heavy eaters of young plants.
You learn something new every day!

Interesting markings, I guess a little slower than a proper Leopard... but probably less likely to be turned into a coat!

Yes I think it's a fact, snails are not good for young seedlings. I've not seen one quite so clearly as this before Gunn.

I think this is a slug, it does not travel around with its own little house. Slugs are really not at all friend to the gardener.
