Stavanger is the fourth biggest city in Norway. It is situated on the southwest coast. My aim is to try to capture something from every day, from the area nearby too, and when I am not at home I will still try to put up a photo from my archive. Welcome back for another look.

I always start exploring new city from background. I like walking on street at early morning and watching the real life, and the real people. I never, never go to the museums, and the most knowing places. If You do not know what I mean, some day try to go to the small local street market on morning. This is unforgiven. Good question. Greats from Bergen.
I usually start by trying to see the major historic or art places -- like many tourists -- and then I like to wander through markets, coffee shops and places a bit off the main path, to get a feeling for the city.
And we the same :-).
Nice shot - but where are your lei sellers?

I don't know what lei sellers mean,sorry:(
I like to go to the supermarket to see what the locals eat
I'm sure the tourist will love it Gunn, I like to walk, walk and walk some more, exploring!
I think "lei sellers" are the people selling flowery necklaces?
Otherwise, you captured a nice atmosphere!
We rarely explore new cities: we are repeat customers usually. Monuments anyway, and places to eat.
