Stavanger is the fourth biggest city in Norway. It is situated on the southwest coast. My aim is to try to capture something from every day, from the area nearby too, and when I am not at home I will still try to put up a photo from my archive. Welcome back for another look.

I love to see and hear buskers - they add so much atmosphere. Originally street performers were poor people trying to make a few coins to survive - now things have changed and predominately it's every-day talented people who love to share their music with the everyday people.
We do not see much in the way of voluntary street performers such as this gentleman, but we have a weekend jazz festival coming up shortly.
Your portrait of this performer is great!

Yes we have street entertainers in the city and you're right Gunn, it always makes the atmosphere much more vibrant.
Buskers are welcomed in many cities, and I'm always happy to see and hear them.
