Yesterday on my way to the icy lake, I parked the car outside the old transformer station owned by the electricity company, Lyse.
Two years back they had 18 students from Rogaland Art school who decorated the building, in return, the company sponsored with a trip for the students.
Is this art? Is it dangerous for the traffic that is passing? Well, that was the discussion back in 2008.
What do you think?

I love wall murals like this when they are done on a 'grand' scale. Philadelphia in the US has loads of them, we have a few in London. I guess 'art' is in the eye of the beholder, I also like graffiti.
I like it and I don't imagine it is any more distracting than anything else.
Thumbs up from here too. Much more pleasing than a dull, bare wall.
Looks great. Who is the smiling salesman?
it's a little in your face, but in a good way. At least it's cheerful, and probably makes more than a few passers by reciprocate the smile.
Actually, I think it is ugly and probably more than a little distracting.
I like this mural a lot!! Gotta say I'm a fan of murals. Very nice light, too.
It's probably better than a wall size poster, but I don't like it at all, and the ugly color is the worst part of it.
Fantastic shot !! Well captured !!
This is one of the nicest transformers I've ever seen!
I like the art and the student did a great job but I guess some people could be distracted while driving by . . . . an accident can happen in just seconds! Nice speed skating photo the day before and bravo for the marathon runners posted today! Hoping to go ice-skating today with our girls!

I like wall murals, although can't say this one is my favorite. However it is much better than seeing graffiti. Bravo to those people on the marathon in the next pic!
Well, I like it very much! Really cool!
