The ice is thick over the whole of the little lake Mosvannet, not far from the centre of Stavanger.
A nice day to be out in the fresh air. People were walking, skiing, cycling , playing ice hockey and even having a barbeque on the frozen lake. These people did what most of us probably wished we had done too.

Cold, ice and snow seem a metter of being organized: this is a great scene of people having fun in (for us!) unconventional matter...

Was there hockey, too? My husband, a pond skating fanatic / BBQ King, would love this setting! Thanks for sharing this event and for visiting my blog, by the way, Gunn!:)

We had this sometimes in Berlin. I always thought it was so funny to see a fire on the ice!

I remember "sparking" around my relatives' village lake in northern Sweden! Fun out on the ice!

If you are going to live in a cold climate, you should enjoy it.
