Stavanger is the fourth biggest city in Norway. It is situated on the southwest coast. My aim is to try to capture something from every day, from the area nearby too, and when I am not at home I will still try to put up a photo from my archive. Welcome back for another look.

Keeps you warm, I guess!
I could get round that table three times - on a good day!
Must be tough on the lung! So, yes very impressive.
I almost can feel the moves there. Great outdoor picture!
A marathon in the middle of winter! That's impressive.
Anyone who runs a marathon is impressive. In winter I think even more so!
After a few kilometers, they must not have been cold at all. I might still be able to do that. I love exercising!
It would be nice for those who can make it. I couldn't.
Wow, they must be dedicated runners!
I loved learning more about Norway through your photos and the commentary. The comments bring alive the great photos. I like the painting on the wall of the electric co. building!

Marathon? With this weather? They can't be human...
Good grief! Lois Anne has run two full Marathons and a number of half-marathons. Interestingly, the worst was the Disney Marathon in Orlando, Florida, a few years ago...it was in the low 30s (F) when it started. I had to wait in the car it was so cold!
Runners are nuts!
Can't imagine running in the snow and cold.
That takes a lot of courage!!!
