So today there were paw prints to see on the walk in the woods.

It is raining outside, and the snow from Saturday's walk, has probably soon all melted.
I just wanted to show you the pretty tree someone had decorated in the woods.

Blowing in the wind.

Gosh, what a night and what a day!

The wind and the big puddles of water....
We should have been using the 4X4, not the little cabriolet!

Luckily we did NOT get this on the cabriolet!
Someones trampoline landed on the cycle path/pavement.

And shortly after, and with a bit of good help, our car was back up on the country road after getting  stuck in a big water filled hole.

The car is parked in the garage, and the wind is even stronger now than this morning.

IVAR SKEI music shop

The unique and the BEST music shop I know about in all of Norway are closing their doors today!
After more than 100 years in business in Sandnes.

Nobody I know can match their knowledge in music, whatever field! Always service minded too.
Liv Reidun has been working there for 40 years and has created a cultural institution for a huge number of people, and she has also sold music at many festivals and concerts over the years.

Now times have changed, and many people buy music via the internet.

I feel sad when quality shops disappear, and in particular this one!

Today there was live music & a concert in the shop .... lots of grateful people, lots of flowers and lots of hugs!

These two boys where dressed in clothes that were just right for the fire brigade, but also to cope with all the rain we have had today.
It looked like they were happy with their shopping, so I guess that included "lørdagsgodt" sweets for Saturday afternoon/ evening too.

Yesterday gave us sunshine and temperatures above +20C
Looks like it is going to be a fine day today too.

100 UGÅ

"100 UGÅ" has become like an annual event in Sandnes.

It is one week where restaurants serve dinners for 100 Norwegian Kroner.

This is "Hønsefrikasse" / "Chicken fricassee", traditional Norwegian food.
It tasted good.

A trip to Sandnes.

A trip to Sandnes yesterday evening also included a look around KINOKINO Kunstsal (art gallery).
If you live in the area and hurry up, you can see these artistic graphic works from around 1940 that have been scanned from slides and turned into large posters.

Roots are important.

What a great day!

E-type Jaguar.

This is just a snapshot taken on the E39, heading north, close to the junction to Kvadrat/Sandnes.
It was a beauty out on the road. "I am pretty sure it is an E-type Jaguar" my husband said.
Perhaps he is right. One thing is for sure, now is the time to get them out on the road.... no rain the next few days.

I was a bit surprised this morning by the amount of snow this late in April.
