A nice old door in to SPØDET, a shop where you can get most things for knitting etc.
They have beautiful buttons and is located close to cafe Sting at Kirkegaten /Valberget.

LOVE - LOVE - LOVE.

For weeks if not months, we have got news about todays Royal Wedding in Windsor / London.

Congratulations!

I don't know if the Norwegian Royals are invited.
But here they are on a PINK college jumper, seen in a window at the shop SEVEN HEAVENS, at the colourful little road Fargegaten / Øvre Holmegate.

I think many customers where happy when COS opened in Stavanger.
A Swedish brand, who have had 3 shops in Oslo, and last year the first one outside the capital opened here in our city.

We have plenty of news about Trump and American politics.
These days we have too much going on with Norwegian politics.
We might have some BIG changes tomorrow?

HAVANA magasinet.

It is an old logo, and the company is still selling all what smokers need.
But advertising is not done the same way anymore.
It is actually the oldest shop in Norway selling tobacco etc.
The previous owners great grandfather started the business back in 1899.

New people are taking over offices and shops that have been empty for quite some time.

IVAR SKEI music shop

The unique and the BEST music shop I know about in all of Norway are closing their doors today!
After more than 100 years in business in Sandnes.

Nobody I know can match their knowledge in music, whatever field! Always service minded too.
Liv Reidun has been working there for 40 years and has created a cultural institution for a huge number of people, and she has also sold music at many festivals and concerts over the years.

Now times have changed, and many people buy music via the internet.

I feel sad when quality shops disappear, and in particular this one!

Today there was live music & a concert in the shop .... lots of grateful people, lots of flowers and lots of hugs!

These two boys where dressed in clothes that were just right for the fire brigade, but also to cope with all the rain we have had today.
It looked like they were happy with their shopping, so I guess that included "lørdagsgodt" sweets for Saturday afternoon/ evening too.
