Picaresque.

This is the artist Guy Allott who explains the work of several UK artists, including himself, who are exhibiting work as part of the exhibition "Picaresque" at Hå Gamle Prestegård.

It amazes me to listen to what artists can come up with regarding meaning and thoughts.

Sometimes it is a little like "The Emperors new clothes."
(Sorry, if I offend someone here, that is not the meaning.)

Anyway, this is a place that I have seen so much I like, and sometimes too much of things I dislike.

I know just what you mean, Gunn. I seem to run across two kinds of artists. Some can't explain what they do at all: "I just thought it looked good." Others string together a whole bunch of nonsense to describe ugly blotches of color.

There was an article here a few days ago about the nonsensical verbiage of certain people in the art world. Your remarks remind me of that.
