More people, -this time four crew members from one of the cruise ships. They used the chance to chat with friends and family back in The Philippines from a new port.
The man to the right, showed me a picture of his wife on his laptop. He misses her an awful lot!
They work ten week shifts and then back home for a break.

Ah, yes, we see this for ten weeks at a time nearly every day at every port. :) Only our senior officers (Captain, Chief Engineer, etc.) have ten week contracts. Other deck, engine, and hotel crew have longer contracts.
It's so good these days that however far away from your family you are it is relatively easy to keep in touch with them, your 'subjects' aways look so happy for you to be taking their picture Gunn.
It's not easy to be away so long from friends and family! They appear to have adjusted well to their way of life, esp with the help of technology.
