As I told you, we have some days with several cruise ships arriving in Stavanger. This is the "back" of "MSC Orchestra." It is huge, and like a floating hotel!
The wooden boat is quite a contrast, but also a very nice contrast.

The cruise ship is humongous! I like the contrast between the huge modern ship and the small wooden boat. (I greatly prefer the wooden boat.)

I'm with Jack; although the cruise ship might be a delightful holiday, I much prefer the small boat.

I also love the small, wooden boat! It must have an interesting history!

The two boat styles present a beautiful photo contrast! The larger boat's whiteness creates a great background highlighting the wooden boat!

What a great picture Gunn, fabulous spotting on your part. I also prefer the smaller boat, but wouldn't go out to sea in either.

What a contrast indeed! I don't have to think twice, I'm all for the small wooden boat which is, in fact, lovely. Great composition, Gunn.

I have never seen the MSC Orchestra in Livorno, but her sister ship MSC Sinfonia is quite at home here.
