Stavanger is the fourth biggest city in Norway. It is situated on the southwest coast. My aim is to try to capture something from every day, from the area nearby too, and when I am not at home I will still try to put up a photo from my archive. Welcome back for another look.

That I like very much. The "tree of life"?
That's very nice art, unobtrusive yet beautiful. Paraply? Anything to do with Bernadotte maybe? ;-) When I was in Norway, two times, I mostly didn't need an umbrella, the weather was gorgeous, except in Bergen...
I think the artwork would have been good if it were not for the steel grid on top of it. Good photo, not so good art.
An elegant piece of simple art, a pity for the bars...
P.S. : good morning from the South ;-) and have a good weekend!
It is good to know that the Green Plan encompasses recycling art and giving a piece like this different meaning in a new home. Have an enjoyable weekend!:)
I really like this piece of art.
Great municipal art but I suspect we both have a soft spot for the less appreciated graffiti.
Simple and elegant. Very nice.
It's very appropriate for this time of year.
Is the library still there?
No the library is in the Culturehouse, where there also are cafees, a gallery and the cinema, some offices as well as the childrens museum and a few small shops/kiosks.
Looks good!
This is lovely!
