Stavanger is the fourth biggest city in Norway. It is situated on the southwest coast. My aim is to try to capture something from every day, from the area nearby too, and when I am not at home I will still try to put up a photo from my archive. Welcome back for another look.

I went to artificial trees about four years ago. The good ones are very lifelike, pre-strung with lights, don't shed their needles, are conveniently stored in a basement or garage, and don't require a live tree to be cut down and fill dumps every year.
In Brazil we mostly have artificial trees for the last decades
We went for a small ceramic tree this year. We took our grandson to a pottery shop, we all painted the tree. We were pleased with the results and the memories
I don't really decorate, but if I did, I'd go with artificial, a good one.
We hang handmade ornaments around our house and Shari knits or crochets new ones every year. We also look for branches and decorate some interesting looking ones that we find. We stopped decorating a tree when we lived in Alaska.
real tree :)
