Ascension Day.

Today is a Christian Holy Day in Norway.
Ascension Day, and most shops and offices have been closed.
Lots of people have also taken tomorrow free from work and gone away for a long weekend.

Life at the airport was quieter today.

It doesn't get a public holiday here, though churches will make it a theme on the nearest Sunday.

That's funny! You'd think maybe people would get into the "spirit" of the day and fly. :-)

Happy long weekend Gunn, are you going away for the weekend?

Nice when religious holidays allow everyone a day off! Thanks for your comment - I got a kick out of taking a school boat!

Grace, It is gardening today and tomorrow, before the rain....
Sunny, and it´s the first day I tried wearing a t-shirt outside, in 2015. (+ 9C)
I am not going back to work until Monday.
Oslo and Bergen are high up on my list for a weekend break. Time will show.
