Sometimes it really stinks.... but today was not too bad!
We call it "Hillevågs-luktå".
I wish I could hear you say that in Norwegian, it means "The smell from Hillevåg"

It makes a great photo though- funny how industry can sometimes look pretty, even when it is so destructive.

i agree with Chrissy because I often find it amazing how dirty industrialization sites and stinky air can offer great photo ops.
(amazed that you understand Dutch ! did you study it or does it sound like Norwegian which I doubt ... a bit of Swedish maybe?)

by the way: Dutch and Norvegian are very close to oneother. I know a dutchspeaking guy who learned Norvegian in 2 months!

I think Robert has a point here. We have a refinery nearby (my brother works there) and the stink is variable...
