I passed this window a few days back, which shows the old spelling of "Kolonial" (which in English is a grocery store). I liked the style of the letters together with the reflection...

Stavanger is the fourth biggest city in Norway. It is situated on the southwest coast. My aim is to try to capture something from every day, from the area nearby too, and when I am not at home I will still try to put up a photo from my archive. Welcome back for another look.

It's beautiful script! Funny, though, 'cause "Colonial" is the English spelling. And I never would have guessed it meant grocery store...
It was the same in Italian, I think we still have a couple of old signs spelling Coloniali. Thanks for the idea!
Nice shot and I agree the font and reflection go well together.
It's a lovely composition, Gunn!
The word also existed in German: Kolonialwaren(laden). But that recollection dates me a bit... Beautiful capture of a beautiful logo!
