It is a sign of summer when all the cruise ships arrive.
Here is the "Aida" from Germany.
It was not that warm but it was sunny, so I guess the tourists were happy to take a look around Stavanger.
Stavanger is the fourth biggest city in Norway. It is situated on the southwest coast. My aim is to try to capture something from every day, from the area nearby too, and when I am not at home I will still try to put up a photo from my archive. Welcome back for another look.

Great photograph of a beautiful ship.
Hope you will see it more often from now on.
Have a great weekend.

I've never been on a cruise ship, never even seen on except in photos. Your image gives such a great view of how immense these vessels are. The giant ship against the puny looking houses?/buildings is such a contrast.
We already have some cruise ships calling, but the weather is not good: the tourists still need an umbrella to go around here!
Huge! But I think I would be bored on board between stops.
Signs of summer are always welcome! :-)
Stavanger was the last stop on our 2005 cruise - easy to walk around even in the rain - We got soaked in Bergen!
