It is Easter soon, and many families have gone on holiday for the whole of next week.
Most people decorate their homes with some yellow flowers.
This is a shot from inside my favorite florist shop.

This creates a very peaceful feeling.

I was going to say that it must be a "yellow" season! I think Easter here is celebrated with more white than yellow. Not that it matters in the least. Yellow is the color of warmth and life!

Lovely, but why yellow in Easter? :-)

Why yellow?? I have not really thought about it.... I used google, and searched for "gul pÄske" and found out that it had to do with celebrating the SUN, here up in the north of Europe. The light, the warmth and energy ....( and green and white are also colors that are used)
The church use yellow, but mainly purple.
To Kostas; we do paint eggs in all diferent colors. I know the Greek Easter traditions are strong, and I know people from this area who go there again and again.....This year Easter is the same time as here?
