"Passageway" is the theme for March...
And this is a photo taken south of Stavanger.
Stavanger is the fourth biggest city in Norway. It is situated on the southwest coast. My aim is to try to capture something from every day, from the area nearby too, and when I am not at home I will still try to put up a photo from my archive. Welcome back for another look.

Fine photo for theme day. I think, though, I'd need shoes with cleats on them to walk on that slippery surface!
A passage with a difference. Beautifully done.
Cheers.

Look really cool..and cold too!
The strength and starkness of this shot is very powerful, Gunn. It comes up really well in B&W.
Terrific passageway.

Great shot !! Very BEautiful !!
I love the contrast between the smooth stone blocks of the tunnel and the gorgeously rough stone of the walls around it.
Love the contrast between the concrete and the wall. I'm not sure I'd want to drive thre though!
It looks like something out of nowhere, nice contrast with the rocks.
It is a passageway under a busy road. This is mainly for people on bikes and people who are out walking.
I'm beginning to think there is a need for snow plows in your area.
My goodness, that's some snow. A really good way of showing today's theme in your country. It looks a bit dangerous but then I suppose you all drive with chains or special tyres.
Whoops, sorry just read your comment and see it's not for cars.
Well, I guess small car`s can drive here, one at the time....
very interesting passage I really like the contrast. well done for theme day
I like its glossy, frozen look. Beautiful photo.

Unlike anything I would see here in my city. Just a lovely interpretation.

Beautiful shot and a unique passage :)
The framing is brilliant! Great entry! Also like the previous snow shots.
Fine pick for the theme, Gunn. I like the contrasts of textures and patterns in your composition. Just right for B&W too.
