I found it a bit ironic that the car and driver had ended up here.... just in front of the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre, which is situated close to Stavanger airport.
The people working there have full responsibility for Southern Norway, and by that I mean on land, all ships and aircraft, and including the oil rigs out in the North Sea.

The car had gone off of the icy road. From what I could see, nobody was injured.

Of course it's ironic, but I'm glad no one is injured...

Great image! Wonderful timing.

This happens to so many people. You'd think they would learn that icy roads mean slip-sliding away - and if you're lucky you slide into a snow bank and walk away with all your bodily functions intact...but you could just as easily slide into another car or over a cliff...

I don't get it. Stay home!

I was just asking myself about thar very long name... Everybody is safe, probably even the car itself, so I can say that this is very funny!
You got a lot of snow!

At least, help was not far away.

Apparently they draw the line at being responsible for errant automobile drivers -:)
