This is a famous window where they for years have had Christmas decorations that most kids in Stavanger have stopped and squeezed their faces to the window to see. Either the snoring Father Christmas, or this Father Christmas banging his walking stick on the window!!
Thanks to "HAUGE på torget", a mens clothing shop near the market place.

We have similar windows in Sydney. I was there last night and it being dark and very windy the windows were crowded with grey haired folk all keen to relive memories of childhood.

Christmas in Australia could not be more different from Christmas in Norway.

Cute. And a stick banging against a window would certainly get my attention!

I love the animated figures in the decorated windows - but I've never seen one banging his stick at you! The wolf looks suspiciously friendly, too. A fun window.

A very nice and picturesque window, but I'm not sure to like the thumps of Santa's stick against the glass! Beyond the eye catching...

He certainly is a different looking Santa.

Well, I'd probably be more or less like the kids...

Nothing replace the smile of a child facing a Xmas window!
