A Norwegian post box, bright and red, is what we use for outgoing post. (Yellow boxes for local mail)
These days most people use e-mail, but it is nice to get a letter or a postcard too.
I hope to send some "snail-mail" for Christmas...

Our boxes are blue. In France, as I recall they were yellow. Yours are red. I wonder why that is. Can't we agree on anything! ;-)

The US Postal Service is having a tough time financially, largely, I think because people are using the Internet to communicate. I can't remember when I last sent a snail mail letter to friends or family.

Ours here are yellow. As we are living technological times, Christmas is for us as well the only time we send snail mail. Times change, just remember 10 years ago...

Our boxes are red, can't remember last time I received a letter. I get mostly utilities bills!

Always lovely to receive snail mail.

Xmas has become unfortunately the only time we do write and receive handwritten mail!!

It is so hard to find a mailbox anymore.

Such a cheerful box, and something else that is orange!

I agree with you, it's nice getting a real, handwritten card or letter every once in awhile! I still write to my Gran as she does not use the internet.

That mailbox looks orange not red. Are orange boxes for "fjord mail?!"

I will swop the photo with a better one, more RED, as soon as I have a new photo, taken in daylight without any strong street light! Ok? ;-)

Well, did I convince you to swop the photo with my little, humble comment? Sending compliments and comments and best wishes to your postbox, whatever color it is! Hilsen fra Hagen igen
