The Norwegian Fjord Horse.

The ( Norwegian ) Fjord Horse is a relatively small but very strong horse breed from the mountainous areas here in the western part of Norway.

Utstein Kloster / Abbey.

It is the time of year when lots of couples get married.
Todays image is from the little church at Utstein Kloster.
An Abbey about 40 min.drive north of Stavanger.
A place well worth visiting.
I liked the stylish way they had decorated the chapel.

UTSTEIN KLOSTER,- the Abbey was built around 1260 and had Augustine monks there before the Reformation.

Today it is a museum, a popular place to get married and a place used for concerts as well as conferences.

It is quite special walking around the Abbey.

It also brought back some memories of a few concerts I have been to here at Utstein Kloster.
