A view.

A view from the main road passing the (new) concert hall on the left side.
If you enlarge the photo you can see the small islands connected together with bridges.

The area outside the new concert house, can also be used as a stage, and thousands of spectators can enjoy music sitting around here.
I think that will be great! Just looking forward to it, on warm evenings in the spring and summer season.

The artist Åsa Maria Bengtsson has created cultural connections with the way her work are shown at each of the five entrances to and from the parking facility area at the new concert hall.
Carpet patterns and plenty of universal symbols are put in the colorful glass mosaic.

Another image from the vernissage.
This time tasty food on brand new plates. "mingle tallerkener" from Figgjo, where you can add a glass of wine on the plate, and walk and talk at the same time.

The Mayor of Stavanger, Christine Sagen Helgø, was one of many who gave a speech at the vernissage.

I was invited to a vernissage at the New Concert House.
Interesting to see and hear about the artists who have created events and art that we will have for many many years. Here you can see a glimpse around the entrance area.

Yesterday I saw a guy who was definitely not an A4 type.
But more smart and trendy!
I wish I had the nerve to go and ask him to take a photo of him, but I didn't.
So please forgive me young man. I hope you will take this as a compliment, for that is what it is meant to be. There are far too many of us on the planet who look the same.
