Stavanger is the fourth biggest city in Norway. It is situated on the southwest coast. My aim is to try to capture something from every day, from the area nearby too, and when I am not at home I will still try to put up a photo from my archive. Welcome back for another look.

Some bloggers I follow have noted that their school spring breaks start this weekend and lead through the Easter weekend. Here the schools have a break in March, at the public school level. University campuses have a break usually in February.
Interesting photo. Too wet to sit at the outside tables. Time to trim back the palm fronds.
We are back to school on Monday after being off a week for our break. A bit late for us as we only have 5 more weeks of school left, for the year.
Perfect photo for Palm Sunday which arrives shortly!
I love this holiday season because our suburb is deserted at Easter as locals head to their weekend houses so we feel as if we have out lovely beachside location all to ourselves. No cuing in shops, restaurants and cafes. No competition for car parking from locals and outsiders - who tend to flock to this area in the weekend to be "seen". No tripping over others on the shoreline when walking the dog. A perfect holiday by just staying at home!
It's always a good time! Arianna
