Stavanger is the fourth biggest city in Norway. It is situated on the southwest coast. My aim is to try to capture something from every day, from the area nearby too, and when I am not at home I will still try to put up a photo from my archive. Welcome back for another look.

That's a great policy!! I lived in communities that some owners would just ignore their duty and get away with it :(
The same applies here- letter carriers have to get to your door.
It is a great policy, but what happens if the homeowner is sick, etc. And just no one able? Used to be here kids came around and always willing to shovel for a few bucks.
Yep, the same is true here. Enforcement, though, tends to be slack.
We live so far out in the country that, if it snows too much, the letter carrier doesn't even show up.
That's a good idea, not that we usually see enough snow to worry about...
So a lot of cleaning snow fall.

Not something I've ever had to consider Gunn. It's good for owners to take responsibility for their own property, unless they're too old or infirm!
The city keep the pavements clear, we need to keep only our own home yards clean, and also take off melting snow or ice from the roof.
But the creation of the snow is heavy work. It is good to live in an apartment building in the winter (as I do).
The photo is stunning.
