That is sad. Maybe the ID chip will help get the cat back home.
Sure hope the day doesn't come when I have to have a "chip". :-)
The few times when our recently-departed sweet Maggi escaped our yard, I lived in fear for her safety. Each time we either found her or some friendly neighbour corralled her for us. Reminds me to get a chip for our new canine, Wild Wendy!
Oh me too Gunn, horrible to think of a pet lost in the cold, or worse!
Hopefully the poor cat's found.
