Church on Sunday?

I am not sure what type of church / church community house this is, but when I passed I got the feeling that it might be more international inside here, than in an ordinary Norwegian church.

I am not a church goer, but still a member of the Norwegian Church like most people are here in Norway.

The number of church goers has gone down. There are probably lots of reasons for that.

I read in a report that Greeks are the people in Europe who go most frequently to church.

So, churchgoing is not good for the economy?

It does look intriguing Gunn.. I must admit I'm not a church goer myself, I don't believe it's necessary to be a good person.

It's funny, they spelled the Hebrew word tshukah (meaning passion) backwards. It should go from right to left.

Not sure the mean of all that Gunn but well spotted for noticing it...

I agree, the church isn't necessary to be good. But whence arises the notion of what constitutes the good? And what community is there that, in theory, holds itself accountable to and for that good?

Interesting sign and it seems you've started an interesting little debate here too! I am not a church goer or affiliated with any church. Many aspects of organized religion really disgust me... but that's another topic! ;-)

Like, maybe, the nine innocent men and women shot dead in Charleston two months ago after welcoming a stranger into their fellowship?

There's an expression in English: I don't mind God, it's his fan club I can't stand.
