A grey and wet summer day, but never mind, it will be better.
The people who have cottages or houses near the beach and the North Sea, also have a view over to the lighthouse at Flatholmen.
This is about 20 minutes by car from the centre of Stavanger.

Twenty minutes to the sea. That sounds very good to me since I enjoy watching the waves. However, I am a city gal at heart. Thanks for your comment about what I should tell my caregivers, Gunn. I assure that I've taken advantage of every chance to explain just that to them and to mention the wonderful City Daily Photo idea itself, as well as what it means to me.
